Benjamin Bunny: A Very Special Rabbit

We adopted Benny in January so that Booker would have a friend. He was such a sweet bunny. He loved to just sit and let you pet him all day. Veggies were his very favorite treat, so much that he snorted a little when he ate!

Last Sunday we noticed a lump on Benny's front leg. I took him to the vet Wednesday to have them check it out. The doctor took a biopsy and determined it was cancer. They said it could be removed through surgery. After some debate we decided to have go ahead with the surgery. Sadly, Benny passed away during the operation.

Benny was only with us for a short time, but we loved him very very much. I thought I would share some photos of him from the day he came to live with us. We will miss him, but we're grateful for the time we had with him.
